1st Birthday Party

We had a big shindig this weekend, it seemed to be all about me! There were about 40 people here, several kids, and some adults, they ate, & played on a slip and slide (weather was beautiful 80's) . Later I opened presents, that was fun, the kids helped me...boy a lot of paper, and toys! Then came the best part, they let me dig in to my very own cake! I didn't know what to do with it at first, but it didn't take me long and I got it all over. It was so much fun!

Sorry, mom missed a month..we will just update all at once! Well, I am still growing, slower now here are my stats:
Weight: 23lbs,
Height: 28in
Teeth: 2--I am drooling alot, so we expect more anytime
Words: Dadda, Mamma, uhoh, hi are my favorites.
I have also said: do(dog), hewo(hello) doe or awe doe(done alldone)
I am a very fast crawler, and am cruising furniture nicely. I need little to hold onto to get on my feet, anything really. I did take two steps a couple days ago--Sept 11th--at my friend Katherine's house, but have not repeated since. I go there to play when mommy has to go to work. It is a lot of fun, I get to play with someone my age..as seen in the first picture with me on the slide. I am really enjoying the dogs, and learning to pet them nicely. They are tolerating me, and occasionally will let me hang on them. I eat most anything, but still don't like bananas! Soon I will be one, can you believe it! Labor Day

Here are a few pictures of our camping trip this past weekend. It was nice to get out of the heat, and enjoy a nice cool weekend in the Mountains. We went up to what is affectionately called "The Cinders". It is located up in Flagstaff, about 7,000 ft, in an area filled with lava rock. This is where it gets it's name...Cinders. The lava rock is ground up into small pea size rocks, and is all over the mountain near "Sunser Crater" just east of Flagstaff. We go up there in the summer to park our trailers in unimproved grounds, and ride what ever toy you have. This includes..dirtbikes, ATV's, Jeeps, Sand-cars, and any type of lifted improved offroad vehicle. Thousands come just to get away for the weekend. This year we had 40 people come mostly from our church, and elsewhere to get away. Who says you need a church building, isn't God's creation a big enough church?? Well it was great to see everyone, and enjoy each others company while trying to out ride them up the hills!

9 monthes

Here are the statistics: I now weigh 22 bls, am 28 3/4 in long. Still have no teeth, but am drooling alot! I crawl very quickly now, and am able to pull up on just about anything. I am still a very happy easy going baby, and smile at just about anybody. My favorite toys are teething toys and anything I am not supposed to have, plus throw in a few pots and pans..and I am a very happy baby. I am eating lots of different foods, I especially like cheerios, and cereal with fruit. I recently got to go visit my g-ma & g-pa A, and got to meet all my cousins on that side of the family. They all think I am great, and found it fun to get in my face. My Uncle Mike called me Chunk Chunk...he should have seen me at 4 months...I was really chunky then..I am finally thinning out and mom calls me skinny baby! I really had fun, but daddy really missed me!

8 months

It has been difficult to update this blog regularly, I apologize to those who are eagerly awating more pictures. We are all doing fine, very busy, but fine. Jenna is now 8 monthes old. She is doing great. She is really starting to scoot around on her belly and is attempting to crawl. She will get on her hands and knees and rock. She loves this new found freedom, and will get into anything she is not supposed to! She still has no teeth..we still have to cross that hurdle, but is eating solids well. She doesn't perticularly like fruit to much, but loves vegetables..not my daughter! She likes turkey better than chicken, and loves, absolutely loves cereal. She still loves the dogs, especially Zoey, and of course they love her back, especially when she drops them food...they aren't picky, they will eat the fruit, or anything that comes of the tray. Her growth has slowed, I haven't weighed her resently, but she is still able to fit into 9-12 mo clothes. All in all, she is a lot of fun, and still a great baby. She will let anyone hold her, but does prefer mommy or daddy, not real picky on which one yet. I will load some more pictures as soon as I can. Thanks for keeping us in your thought and prayers.

6 months

Thats right ladies and gentlemen, I am now six months old...wow, I'm getting old. Here is the update on my progress. I weigh 20bls, 8oz, and am 27 in long. I can now sit independently, but am still just a little bit wobbly...so mom can't go to far. I have bonked my head a couple times. I love to bounce om mom and dad's legs. I giggle at everything. I want to hold everything, and find that if I can get a hold of it I discover more by putting it in my mouth. Still drooling a ton, no teeth yet, doc says my gums are still hard...bummer, guess that means we will have to wait. I am eating yellow vegetables, green vegetables...even peas, and will be starting on fruit this week. I really like all these new tastes. I am starting to reach out for mommy and daddy, and love to give hugs, so anyone that wants a hug come and get it. I still love anyone who wants to hold me, especially if they will play with me. I really like dogs, they make me laugh when ever they come near, run around, or even shake their ears. I can stand on mommy and daddy, but only if they keep me balanced. I can roll over, but don't do it much, I think I prefer to stay put. Thanks, for reading and updating yourself on my status.

4-5 Months

We had our fourth month appointment. Jenna is now 18lbs 12oz. & 24 in long. She is trying to sit up, and not quite rolling over. We have now started teething, not so fun. But she is sleeping through the night most of the time. We are starting cereal twice a day to try to keep up with this growing baby. Rob is coninuing to work two jobs, but is able to be home a bit more since I am working and able to pickup and extra shift here and there. We are doing good, and are able to pay off quite abit of the the debt from the business. God has been amazing in his provision.
